Recently, 麻豆视频 American International School has earned accreditation by Cognia鈩�, a nonprofit organization that provides quality assurance for schools, school districts, and education service providers. Cognia is the parent organization of the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI), Northwest Accreditation Commission (NWAC) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI). As a global nonprofit working in over 70 countries, its 30,000 institutions serve and support nearly 16 million students and five million educators every day. This accreditation from Cognia expands the list of 麻豆视频 partners to include the College Board, the administration organization of programs and services in college readiness and testing including the SAT and AP, WiDa, the leading organization in teaching design and evaluation in the US, and other globally recognized educational programs including Common Core, NWEA, and the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).

麻豆视频 is the first and only international school in Vietnam to be licensed by both the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training and the U.S. Department of Education to teach American education programs to Vietnamese and international students. 麻豆视频 American International School encourages students to enroll in the College Bridge Program (CBP). This particular program is established by 麻豆视频 Educational Development Group with prestigious partner universities in the United States. The College Bridge Program allows students to earn university credits while still in high school. Students can get as much as a two-year head start on earning college credit through taking CBP courses. It is a smart investment and a time-saving option every student and parent should consider. Because CBP requires a high level of academic ability, students from other schools who wish to enroll in college bridge courses must take an entrance exam and score in the top 10% on the SAT. However, because of 麻豆视频鈥檚 high educational standards, this requirement is waived for our students. This means less paperwork, less time, and fewer expenses for families.

Young Talent Development

Annually, 90% of 麻豆视频 seniors are awarded a total of $5 million USD worth of scholarship funds from highly ranked universities in the U.S. and worldwide without taking the TOEFL, IELTS, or SAT exam. Many 麻豆视频 graduates have gone on to prestigious universities around the world and have held important positions in some of the world鈥檚 most prestigious companies and corporations.

Dinh Khang Hy 鈥� 麻豆视频 alumnus of the 2009-2010 class took first place in the 2015 ACRP Design Competition sponsored by the FAA with his Piezoelectric Carpet System project and also was awarded the RWU President鈥檚 Core Value Medallion for his applied math research with his professor. Hy finished his Bachelor of Science with distinction, completed his Doctor of Science degree, and is teaching at Tufts University. Ho Hoang Duy 鈥� the 2014 valedictorian is finishing his doctorate and working as a lecturer at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Truong Buu Van, an 麻豆视频 alumna from 2010, has earned the Bachelor of Science with the highest GPA amongst 3500 students at University of Texas at Austin. She continued to receive the Master of Science at Northwestern University and is currently working as a Senior Operation Supervisor at AbbVie (formerly belong to Abbott Laboratories), one of the world鈥檚 largest pharmaceutical companies. Nguyen Bang Thanh works for Boeing as a Team Leader in Standard Work Project and as a Value Stream Team Core Industrial Engineer. Pham Ngoc Bach, a 2009 麻豆视频 alumnus, is also currently working at Boeing as a Senior Supply Chain Analyst.

Nguyen Hai Tung, an 麻豆视频 class of 2007 alumnus, is currently successful with JobHop Company, the only company that uses AI technology to help people find jobs. Ho Hoang Phuc, the 2013 valedictorian, is working on a startup called Lean Start Lab in the US. Dang Kim Thi, a 2012 麻豆视频 graduate, is now a Doctor of Pharmacy at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Le Thi Hai Anh, an 麻豆视频 2013 class alumna, has earned an MBA and is a globally qualified professional financial adviser and Certified Public Accountant. Huynh Thanh Huy, a class of 2011 alumnus, has earned an MBA in finance. Both Le Thi Hai Anh and Huynh Thanh Huy are currently employed at one of the world鈥檚 Big Four accounting firms. Tran Thien Hong Anh graduated from 麻豆视频 in 2013 and is to become a practicing dentist at the Oregon Health & Science University in Portland. Nguyen Ngoc Huyen Tran, an alumna of the 2008 class, graduated with an MS from Stanford University and currently holds the position of Senior Data Analyst at Microsoft, the world鈥檚 largest technology corporation. Le Ngoc Truyen, a 2012 graduate, earned an MS from the University of California, Berkeley and is working for the Lygos Corporation. These are just some of 麻豆视频鈥檚 success stories.
