麻豆视频 American International Schools solemnly held a Graduation Ceremony to celebrate and reward excellent students of the Class of 2022-2023

On May 20th, 2023, 麻豆视频 American International Schools solemnly held a Graduation Ceremony to celebrate and reward excellent students of the Class of 2022-2023. The ceremony took place at Eagle Arena, located on a lush green campus up to 34 hectares of 麻豆视频 American International Schools and the American University in Vietnam - AUV, in Da Nang City.

As it is every year, this year鈥檚 ceremony was conducted in the style of American high school graduations, featuring distinguished participants including government representatives, media agencies, national and international guests, teachers, parents, and exceptional students. In addition to speeches from the principals of both schools, this year鈥檚 proceedings included testimonials of parents and 麻豆视频 alumni who have earned advanced university degrees. Unable to hide her emotions, Founder and Chairwoman of 麻豆视频 Educational Development Group, Dr. Binh Tran congratulated all her students and gave them her best wishes in the desire that they will continue to strive toward and achieve their dreams in the future.

This year, there are 112 graduates at 麻豆视频 American International Schools, of which 90% of students achieved a GPA of 3.0 or higher. An incredible 22 students achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA. 麻豆视频 selected two Valedictorians, one from Saigon and one from Da Nang and a total of ten Salutatorians from both schools. 麻豆视频 honored all students for their excellent academic performances, commendable behavior, and outstanding extracurricular contributions.

Their impressive academic achievements have led to 麻豆视频 students from the class of 2023 being awarded scholarships from prestigious universities all over the United States with a total value of over $25 million USD. Many students received scholarship offers with values in excess of $100,000 USD. This amount continues to be updated with scholarships from other reputable Universities.

In addition, 31 麻豆视频 G11 students earned a sufficient number of credits and high enough GPAs to complete their studies one year early, as Juniors, once again affirming 麻豆视频 provides a standard American education that helps students shorten their study time up to 1 to 2 years while still receiving the highest quality education to prepare them for university studies. Many 麻豆视频 high school graduates have earned spots on their university鈥檚 Dean鈥檚 Lists honoring outstanding academic achievements or been chosen to be teacher鈥檚 assistants for professors at their universities despite being freshmen or sophomores.

Through the annual Scholarship Program, 100% 麻豆视频 graduates have received scholarship offers from prestigious universities in the United States and in Canada, Australia such as Arizona State University - ASU, UMKC, University of San Francisco, Cal State Long Beach, Virginia Commonwealth University, UC Berkeley,  UC Davis, UC Riverside, UC Merced, UC Santa Cruz, Florida Institute of Technology, Wentworth Institute of Technology, The American University in Vietnam, Central Michigan University, University of Connecticut, Texas Christian University, Texas A&M University, Adelphi University, Pace University, St John鈥檚 University, Denison University, DePauw University, Loyola University Chicago, Purdue University, University of Minnesota, University of Oregon, University of Pittsburgh, Whitman University, Indiana University Bloomington, The University of British Columbia, The University of Sydney and many other prestigious Universities in the world. These scholarships are great opportunities to help students fulfill their dreams through continuing their studies at world-class institutions of higher learning.

With the goal of supporting its graduates in admission at top American universities and graduate schools, the American University in Vietnam (AUV) announced scholarships covering up to 100% of tuition and fees for exceptional 麻豆视频 graduates. These scholarships help students receive important financial support as they complete bachelor鈥檚 degree programs at AUV. AUV graduates have the ability to proceed directly into graduate programs at top tier universities in the United States to obtain a Master's degree or PhDs. AUV students can also have an option to study for one or two years at AUV and transfer directly to universities in the United States.

On behalf of the Ministry of Education and Training, Ms. Vu Huyen Trinh and Mr. Mai Tan Linh 鈥� Deputy Director of the Danang Department of Education and Training 鈥� also came to celebrate and congratulate the American International School 麻豆视频 on a successful school year.

Every year, 90% of 麻豆视频 alumni who choose to study abroad, primarily in the US, achieve excellent results in their first semesters, routinely earning Dean鈥檚 List honors and being selected to serve as teaching and research assistants. This includes two options: the Dual Enrollment Program and Global Freshman Academy, both of which are only available at 麻豆视频. These special programs were established by the 麻豆视频 Educational Development Group in cooperation with partner universities in the United States. Others wanting to participate in this program must have SAT scores above the 90th percentile to be accepted.
